Why Beach Park School Is Special
“Free the child’s potential and you will transform him into the world.”
– Maria Montessori
For over 25 years, Beach Park School’s authentic Montessori curriculum has encouraged a child’s independence while respecting their physical, psychological and social development. Students, ages three through 8th grade, are at the center of an individualized approach that allows children to grow at their own pace. A Montessori education fosters self-discipline and a love of learning. Guided by specially trained teachers, children are grounded in strong academics as they develop self-esteem and confidence to face both challenge and change. Montessori prepares children for academic success and for life.
At Beach Park School, we believe that developing a child’s curiosity is a prerequisite for higher level thought. With our Montessori approach to education, we provoke questions, invite multiple perspectives and ultimately stretch our students’ minds.
Mixed age classrooms and a multi-sensory approach are at the core of the curriculum.
Beach Park School is a community of children and the people who celebrate their potential. Respect is both taught and modeled for students. Given freedom within a structured environment and curriculum, children learn how to make good choices for themselves. Beach Park School surrounds its students with support, enabling them to develop their own unique gifts and learning potential.
We hope you will consider a Montessori education for your child. While many children begin their education at Beach Park School at the age of three, students also join us at other ages.
Welcome to the unique community that is Beach Park School.
